Sixteen years ago, Ultimate Software launched with an unusual premise: a human capital management (HCM) system focused on the users of the software.
We believe that HCM software should be created for everyone from business leaders to part-time employees. Most companies aim to treat their customers with dignity and respect; however, we believe that they also need to treat their employees that way. This “people first” culture is evident in our organization, and is projected through the products and services we provide.
As a result, the UltiPro® solution in the cloud has struck a resounding chord in the marketplace. Eighteen years ago, we had approximately 175,000 employee records in the cloud; today we’re over 37 million. We’re serving over 4100 organizations in over 160 countries and processing more than $382 billion in payroll annually. This vast array of data requires over 33,000 servers—more than 500 times the servers we operated in 2002.
We’d like to think we’re still at the beginning of the Ultimate Journey. We’re still adding revolutionary predictive and prescriptive analytics tools such as My Leadership Actions™ and the UltiPro Retention Predictor™, as well as advanced sentiment analysis through UltiPro Perception™.
