Services Business with 4,000 Employees Selects Ultimate Software’s Intersourcing |

Weston, FL, October 12, 2005 — Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading provider of Web-based payroll and workforce management solutions, announced today that TIMCO Aviation Services, one of the largest independent commercial jet maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul, and aircraft storage service providers in the United States, selected Ultimate Software’s UltiPro Workforce Management delivered through its hosted solution, Intersourcing, in August 2005.
TIMCO had been using a service bureau that didn’t provide the HR functionality or reporting capabilities the company wanted to maximize the efficiency of its employee-centric processes. According to Fritz Baumgartner, vice president of finance, controller, and chief accounting officer for TIMCO, the aviation services company was attracted to Intersourcing because the solution would allow IT staff to continue focusing on other critical business systems while the HR/payroll department could take advantage of UltiPro’s end-to-end human resources, payroll, and strategic workforce management functionality.
“Our IT staff just doesn’t have the capacity to take on any other projects, yet we need the control over our own processes and data that an in-house solution delivers,” said Baumgartner. “The Intersourcing offering makes good business sense for us since it is the perfect blend of in-house control and outsourced services.”
As a member of the selection committee, Baumgartner suggested that TIMCO consider Ultimate Software because he had used UltiPro previously with former employers. His prior day-to-day experience gave him firsthand knowledge about Ultimate Software’s award-winning product and customer service.
