Before you arrive:

“Book a room at Bellagio ASAP before the room block is filled.”
“Read breakout session descriptions carefully before selecting them to make sure you don’t sign up for repetitive sessions or sessions that don’t apply to you.”
“Make sure you’re opted in to receive Connections e-mails and newswires by going to the UltiPro preference center and selecting the check box for Connections Conference updates. You can access the preference center by clicking on the link at the bottom of any newswire.”
“Book flights so that they don’t interfere with a breakout session you want to attend.”
“Keep a personal itinerary to help you carefully plan the time not spent in sessions.”
“Don’t stress if you don’t get into a Hands-on Learning session. The other breakout sessions are equally as valuable—and not available to you via UltiUniversity throughout the year.”
“Apply for an Innovation Award! Be proud to share your UltiPro accomplishments with the rest of us.”
“Consider choosing time in the Ultimate Experience as one of your breakouts. It’ll ensure that you devote dedicated time there.”
“Schedule a one-on-one session with your ERM. Their schedules book up quickly, and you’ll definitely want some time to speak with them face-to-face.”
“Download the Connections mobile app. It’s a great place to store your personal agenda.”
“If you like hard copies of everything, print your agenda before you head to Vegas so you don’t have to spend money at the hotel’s business center.”

Once you arrive:

“Wear comfortable shoes! You’re going to do a lot of walking.”
“Take advantage of networking sessions at the beginning of the conference so you can interact with people you meet throughout the week.”
“Attend your user community event. You’ll meet people from your region whom you can stay in touch with all year long.”
“Bring your conference bag to sessions to carry various items (conference brochure, pen, breakout session handouts, vendor giveaways, etc.).”
“If you’re not staying at Bellagio, bring a change of clothes with you for the evening events so you don’t have to go back to your hotel to get ready.”
“You don’t need to make dinner reservations for Tuesday and Thursday night. There really is plenty of food served at the receptions.”
“Breakfasts and lunches are served both indoors and outdoors.”
“Don’t be shy: Ask the waitstaff to point out which food items meet your dietary restrictions. They know which selections are dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, and so on. If they don’t, they’ll find out for you.”
“Pace yourself so you have enough time in the Ultimate Experience to get your passport fully stamped so you can participate in the drawing.”
