2008 Minimum Wage Change
Effective July 24, 2008, the minimum wage rate for Maryland increased from $6.15 to $6.55 with a tip credit changing from $3.07 to $3.28.
2008 Withholding Tables
Effective July 1, 2008, Maryland’s withholding tables have changed to reflect the new 6.25% withholding rate for employees with wages exceeding $1,000,000.00. No adjustment is needed for prior wages.
