IRS Corporate Partnership Program |
 |
The IRS Corporate Partnership Program allows the IRS to work with businesses to increase the accessibility of tax forms and information. Heres how the program works: The IRS gives your company a free copy of the IRS Tax Products CD-ROM. You make the CD-ROM accessible to your employees on your intranet or local area network. Your company would then encourage employees to obtain tax materials at work via their intranet or Internet, or by photocopying forms and/or instructions.
The employees benefit by having easy access to IRS forms/publications without having to call the IRS or visit IRS offices. The IRS benefits through increased public accessibility to tax forms, increased compliance with tax laws, and reduced costs for distributing tax forms and information.
Employers can join via telephone (916-636-7703), fax (916-636-7772), or via the IRS Digital Daily Web site at www.irs.ustreas.gov. Corporate partners have access to a special customer support service designed specifically for the IRS Corporate Partnership Program. |
